Elderwood Farms

Elderwood Farms is an award-winning alpaca breeding program in Millington, Tennessee, just north of Memphis. Austin Swain and Brandon Sigler purchased their first alpaca in 2012, and today Elderwood is known for combining exceptional genetics, fleece quality, show-ring performance, and distinctive color.

Our Huacaya breeding program includes accomplished solid-colored alpacas alongside a strong focus on Appaloosa, Harlequin, Pinto, and other multicolored patterns. Elderwood-bred and owned alpacas have earned National Championships, Supreme Championships, Judge’s Choice awards, and recognition across halter, walking fleece, and fleece competition. We are also expanding our program to include Suri alpacas.

Beyond breeding, alpaca sales, and stud services, Elderwood provides practical alpaca education, mentorship for new and established owners, and alpaca experiences designed to help people better understand alpaca ownership, husbandry, fleece, and breeding. Through Shear & Share, Elderwood also connects fiber enthusiasts with raw alpaca fleece produced by the herd.
