Misty Pond Alpaca and Maremmas

Hi! We are Misty Pond Alpaca in Paducah, Ky and we LOVE Alpacas! From their sweet curious personalities to their super soft fleece, there is nothing else like an alpaca.  What started as something to do in retirement has become more than we ever imagined.  We welcome people from all over the world to come, visit and meet an amazing alpaca!  Many people hear "alpaca" and think llama, but they are very different. Alpaca are much smaller than a llama and are very docile.

Alpacas are a unique livestock animal used primarily for their fleece.  Warm, soft, comfortable products are produced from their fiber.  At our store you can purchase items made from alpaca and experience it for yourself.
