DESCRIPTION:Open House no appointment required! Walk With the Alpacas is an opportunity to become one with a herd of 40 female alpacas who like to come up and spend time with people. That said their are days they require coaxing so see if you have the Alpaca Whisperer in you but in any event we will work to help get some memorable memories and photos along with stories and alpaca husbandry information. \nAlong with sharing time with the alpaca we provide insight into the life of the fleece Fleece to Fashion to understand what goes into fleece processing to yarn and some of the garments that were used in the final product. This gives you an opportunity to see how MAMGB Uome’s fleece was used and maybe her story as well.

DESCRIPTION:It’s our 18th time offering this event on the ranch (2 years off for COVID).\nEnjoy a family friendly outing and opportunity get close to (and feed) an alpaca. Learn why we raise alpacas – demonstrations of spinning\, felting\, knitting or weaving conducted throughout the day. Our gift shop is open so that you can find a unique alpaca or llama related item. \n• All tickets must be purchased online for specified entrance time\, and must be redeemed during that time. We do NOT mail tickets; you will check in upon arrival.\n• Wear shoes that are appropriate for the ranch – boots are highly recommended\, but at least wear closed-toed shoes.\n• Bring your camera! And your smile!\n• Strollers\, baby carriers\, walkers and canes are safe to use on the ranch\, but please remember that this is working ranch with uneven surfaces.\n• There are a limited number of reservations available per day.
